What should I Give to?

Most of our parishioners give to the general fund. This fund usually titled Stewardship YYYY which is used for any and all church operations including building maintenance, Faith Formation programs, Liturgy, Clergy and Staff Salaries to name a few.

Some parishioners have asked if they can dedicate some of their giving to specific causes of the church. Click through the list of various charitable opportunities below to learn more.

  • Stewardship 2026

    Our general fund used for any and all church operations. 

  • Directed St. Gabriel Giving

    Many of our parishioners have asked if some of their donations can be directed to specific groups or programs within our campus. 

    • Share & Care: This is our shoulder to shoulder outreach program. We use these funds to purchase food for the hungry and in special cases we help with utility payments.
    • Faith Formation: Some love to help promote the faith
    • Prepares: A chapter of the Archdiocesan Prepares ministry. St. Gabriel hosts it's own Baby Botique and ministry to assist parents with children from birth to 5yrs old.
    • Fr. Dell Scholarship: High School Graduates who are members of our church compete through essays and their Faith In Action for the annual scholarship up to $1000. 
    • Building & Utilities: You guessed it some parishioners like to help us keep the lights on or maintain the building.

    Please remember while these funds must be used for their specific purpose, our general stewardship fund also support these programs and groups.

  • Share & Care

    Our St. Gabriel family has always had a heart to support those in need in our local community. This specific fund was born out of the idea from our parishioners to have a fund that can only be used to support specific programs, like our annual holiday food boxes, and gifting money to local charities and outreach like our neighbors of the Food Bank or Family Kitchen. 

  • Faith Formation

    Some of our parishioners have a heart to promote the faith. As such, this specific fund is used solely as supplementary support for our Faith Formation Programs.

    Exactly what it sounds like. Some parishioners like to allocate some of their tithing towards keeping the lights on or maintaining the church.

  • Archdiocese of Seattle Special Collections

    Every year, the Archdiocese of Seattle invites Catholics to support important collections. This calendar link below outlines opportunities so you can plan your giving and support the causes most important to you.


    A small portion of the funds collected may be used for direct promotional expenses incurred by the Archdiocese of Seattle.

  • Annual Catholic Appeal

    Catholics across Western Washington support this Archdiocesan campaign. 


    The Annual Catholic Appeal funds ministries and services for your local Catholic community – including your neighbors and parish.


    Your contributions secure the future of the local Church by supporting Catholic education, CYO camps, faith formation and guidance and training for our seminarians, clergy, and lay leaders.


    Your donation also funds shared services directly supporting your parish.
