The heart of our Spiritual Adoption Ministry is a profound commitment to the sanctity of life and the power of prayer. It is an intercessory prayer ministry for a baby who is in danger of being aborted, and for that baby's parents and family who are dealing with this very difficult situation. Participants are asked to commit to spiritually adopt an unborn child by naming their baby and pledging to pray for them for nine months. This ministry only takes 15 seconds a day. Here is the suggested prayer written by Archbishop Fulton Sheen, but you can use your own prayer too.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby [Baby Name] that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion.
Our parish family gathers after both Sunday Masses in the parish hall to enjoy coffee, pastries, and good company. If you are interested in serving, cleaning, and counting donations, please contact us!
